Broker Manager - Technology, Greater London

Reporting to their Head of Broker Channel, creating, building and maintaining excellent relationships with brokers and small-ticket vendor/dealer partners. Working within a small team, with continual contact with both internal and external customers, developing and supporting existing broker/reseller programmes. Become the first internal point of contact for proposals, quotations, documentation, risk queries and appeals. The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 5 years prior relevant knowledge and experience, with strong exposure to dealer and manufacturer finance. The ability to build relationships and prioritise work will be key to their success. Will involve the day to day management of stocking systems, building new schemes, creating mechanisms to improve communications between sales and stocking. Communicate clearly with local sales (vendors and dealers) in terms of stocking progress, utilisation and performance. Provide dealer training. The right person will ideally have prior experience in managing a team, with the ability to lead, manage, motivate and develop team members to deliver high quality service. With most being ongoing longer-term finance proposals it is important that candidates can show strong project and organisational skills. Will act as a main point of contact from the initial contact through to closing. A newly create role, to work alongside a successful existing field based salesforce of experienced professionals. Focus on the materials handling, transportation & construction sectors. Direct to corporate business, with a strong bias towards new business development. Identifying, prioritising and targeting potential key UK account opportunities. Research end user prospects by vertical, and make and execute on prospecting plans in line with international key accounts strategy. Take a consultative sales approach working with customers, prospects and suppliers to identify specific needs. Strive to provide a customised solution that differentiates from the competition. Pursue referral relationships with manufacturers or dealers. Leveraging existing major account customers and provide value added solutions that result in new customers. Manage complex and structured accounts; managing the development of appropriate transactional documentation (legal, tax, credit), and when required prepare and present documentation and proposals for review in credit risk and asset management approval committees. European leading lessor seeking a Regional Finance Manager, Hard Assets (Construction, Materials Handling, Agriculture and Transportation assets). Supporting the sales activity of equipment vendors and their respective dealer networks by continually promoting financial solutions. Establishing and maintaining regular dialogue with dealers, manufacturers’ partners and brokers. Identifying finance knowledge gaps within dealers and provide training and support to improve sales. Attend manufacturers and dealers’ business events/shows. Work closely with the vendor Internal Sales Team to ensure a consistent and proactive service for all external stakeholders. Submit detailed credit applications in need, monitor the communication process, consult with Credit Risk and other internal departments as required. Requires strong sales and relationship management experience, preferably in a similar vendor/captive environment. Ability to work independently as part of a wider team, but with a proven track record of working in an autonomous way. Patch covering Birmingham/ East Midlands/ up to Nottingham, down to Oxford.
