Internal Sales Executive, London (with hybrid working)

City based lessor. This role reports to their Sales Manager with overall responsibility for managing a specific broker portfolio of well established accounts. Develop close relationships with allocated contacts, ensuring regular communication and achieving agreed objectives. Ensuring intermediaries are offered an exceptional service, providing a quick, efficient service that promotes future dealings with the Bank. Assist the Sales Team with strategy ideas and the publication of targeted campaigns throughout the year. Attend sales meetings where you will be required to review performance from the previous month and provide forecasts for the following month. Ensure that all Lease, Hire-Purchase and Conditional Sale proposals are correctly and thoroughly investigated and processed from the first proposal stage to the final payment. Manage outstanding approved deals to improve conversion rate via strong “pipeline” management.

Offering specialist knowledge and expertise, quality of systems, underwriting and fast payout, with a relentless focus on delivering an excellent customer experience. Now looking for an experienced individual who will build on these strong foundations, and will be expected to present and deliver a strategy for growth supported by their considerable resources. A very strategic role, whilst responsible for the overall management of the Vendor department (current team of around 12, external and internal based salespeople). Handling all staff reviews, personal development and any personnel matters. Team is providing financial solutions to vendors, dealers or their distribution channels or specialist brokers/introducers. Strong business model based on forming close partnerships, and developing tailored finance solutions, both in retail, wholesale and stocking finance. Key to success is their efficient service and delivery. Work at CEO level with such introducers, requiring in-depth knowledge of all finance products and funding structures. Knowledge of equipment assets including security valuations and residual values essential.

Develop successful sales pathways, identifying market segments and assets classes bringing value and generating profitable volumes. Needs excellent all-round knowledge of funding broker business and related pricing, risk appetite and asset types as well as in-depth knowledge of all finance products (Lease, HP & Operating Lease). Driven to deliver returns for the business in line with key target objectives within budgetary requirements including volume margin earnings and portfolio quality. A natural ability to lead and coach a broker team, comfortable operating at a senior level alongside global management. The individual is expected to have 10 years+ broker experience.

They are now looking for an individual who will build on these strong foundations and deliver on considerable growth plans. Deliver a strategy, supported by their full resources, to strike the right balance between broker, vendor, manufacturer and dealer introductory sources. Their Agricultural department is made up of external and internal based sales staff. Business is obtained from the agricultural, grounds care and associated markets including the financing of green assets predominantly from industry specific brokers. They already have a strong retail and wholesale (stocking) delivery with manufacturers and dealers. Service standards are crucial, and they provide fast underwriting and fast pay out times to ensure customers ongoing satisfaction. Will need to manage and lead the Agricultural team including all staff reviews, development plans and personnel requirements. Participate in the budget process and assist in setting Broker target objectives in volume, margin and income and other operational objectives. The individual will need to have/or develop a high profile in the Agricultural market via industry boards (FLA, NACFB, NFU) and marketing initiatives (industry publications external trade shows, social media etc)

Our client is an established Captive, seeking an experienced Account Manager with strong vendor/dealership knowledge and experience. To finance various equipment (hard assets) for part of this global multinational. A worldwide brand. Supporting dealership sales teams in the South, to ensure the integration of financing into their customer proposition. Assisting them to differentiate themselves in the marketplace, generate leads, win new business and retain existing customers. Providing all required ongoing training, including formal presentations to both salespeople and customers, to explain the added value. Assist with structuring deals, and be familiar with the principles of customer risk analysis, working to make sure those salespeople understand the processes and credit decision making. Take the lead in major contract negotiations. You will be targeted on sales volumes, lease penetration, market share and renewal rate. Needs good relationship skills in supporting Sales Managers and the Salesforce. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasts for each regional business unit. Must be an effective communicator, with good PowerPoint and IT skills. The client is relatively flexible on an applicants’ actual location in the South, but must be prepared to undertake considerable travel in covering a large patch.

Regional Finance Manager - Hard Assets, Birmingham/East Midlands

European leading lessor seeking a Regional Finance Manager, Hard Assets (Construction, Materials Handling, Agriculture and Transportation assets). Supporting the sales activity of equipment vendors and their respective dealer networks by continually promoting financial solutions. Establishing and maintaining regular dialogue with dealers, manufacturers’ partners and brokers. Identifying finance knowledge gaps within dealers and provide training and support to improve sales. Attend manufacturers and dealers’ business events/shows. Work closely with the vendor Internal Sales Team to ensure a consistent and proactive service for all external stakeholders. Submit detailed credit applications in need, monitor the communication process, consult with Credit Risk and other internal departments as required. Requires strong sales and relationship management experience, preferably in a similar vendor/captive environment. Ability to work independently as part of a wider team, but with a proven track record of working in an autonomous way. Patch covering Birmingham/ East Midlands/ up to Nottingham, down to Oxford.
